Additional Services

Lucky Duct LLC offers many additional services to help improve the quality of your air duct system. Below is a detailed list of our services. If you have any additional questions concerning our services please feel free to contact us at sales@luckyduct.net

Boiler Cleaning

Description: Cleaning of burners, heat exchanger and flue with compressed air and "power vacuum".

Benefits: Boiler will run cleaner and more efficiently not to mention an excellent "safety improvement".

Dryer Vent Cleaning

Description: A blow back jetter is propelled into the dryer vent, at an astounding 180-200 psi. To pull and blast out lint build up.

Benefits: Great deterrent to a potential fire hazard. If lint build up is significant, an incredible drying time improvement may be accomplished as a result to cleaning out the dryer vent.

Dryer Vent Rebuild and Repair

Description: We at Lucky Duct LLC discourages use of vinyl and plastic piping material. Those material are very flammable and can spread fires rather than contain fire. We encourage the home owner to use sheet metal rounds at proper round dimension and length per manufacturing specifications of the dryer make and model.

Benefits: Drastic air flow improvements are noticed from venting with sheet metal and it is a lot safer for operation also.

Filter Door Fabrications

Description: A cut out on the return chase is made and a metal slider door is fabricated. Also lock brackets are created so the air filter stays in place without falling over.

Benefits: A filter on the return chase makes it easier for the home owner to maintain their air filter, rather than fighting a " not so user friendly" assembly on the inside of the actual furnace.

External Duct Sealing

Description: All accessible duct work is sealed using a water based high velocity duct sealant at every duct connection (joyce, brace, seams, end caps and round connections etc.) The duct sealant that Lucky Duct LLC uses is UL listed, contains no asbestos, PCBs or CFCs and is rated for indoor and outdoor applications. Also the sealant has excellent mold and mildew resistance.

Benefits: Air flow increases at outgoing supply registers. Energy efficiency is achieved because less air is wasted on heating or cooling "dead space". This allows your furnace and or air conditioner to not run as frequently when ran in an "auto" mode on the thermostat, because you are heating and cooling livable square footage rather than heating and cooling an attic or crawlspace or under the hardwood floor, for example. Your thermostat registers room temperature and when your furnace runs to heat your home it will only shut down when the set temperature matches the room temperature. When the duct work is sealed adequately this occurs sooner, rather than later, which result's in energy savings.
