Why Clean The HVAC system?
- Increased System Efficiency=Lower Energy Costs (For example, clogged coils run at least 20% less efficiently than clean ones and obstructions in supply branch lines will effect how long an air handler takes to heat or cool a space, which you pay for on the energy bill)
- Increase Airflow
- Breathe Healthier Air
- Reduce or Eliminate Unpleasant Odors
- Reduce Dust Circulation
- In Very Extreme Cases, Avoid A Fire Hazard (In most commercial ventilation systems there is a fire damper or sprinkler system in the ventilation system by code)
- Protect valuable electronic equipment from damaging dust
- Possibly Reduce Employee Sick Hours
- Comfortable Employees Are Productive Employees
- Allow Your Customers To Feel More Comfortable When They Are In Your Facility
- Avoid Liabilities Created By Sick Building Illness
How Do I Get An Estimate For My Facility?
Answer: Simply call 303-246-5475 to schedule a free (30,000 square foot maximum) walk through estimate of your facility or fill out the Request of Service form and a sales representative will get you on the schedule for a walk through. A walk through estimate of facilities above 30,000 square feet requires more time to conduct and a small fee will be assessed for the time spent on creating the estimate.
Indoor Air Quality Information:
Eliminating unnecessary physical & energy stressors as well as maintaining a clean hygienic HVAC system will normally eliminate 90% of all occupant complaints in a building. Keep in mind that legitimate occupant complaints will normally present a pattern through a substantial number of people making similar complaints about the same comfort issue and that occasionally isolated complaints may occur through illness that has originated elsewhere. Mold factors in walls due to the installation of wrong regional vapor barriers, water leaks in attics, crawlspaces and ceilings may create comfort complaints as well as over sizing and under sizing of air handlers, lack of humidity, sewer back ups, improper grade around the building which can cause water accumulation to enter into the structure, high radon levels, altered asbestos and inadequate fresh air and pressurization problems are some of many examples that may cause indoor air quality complaints in your commercial facility. Generally speaking, building inspectors are very good at finding building deficiencies and instruct corrections of such found deficiencies during the construction phase of the building, to where the above mentioned problems that may also contribute to poor indoor air quality becomes isolated events. Fortunately, your Lucky Duct, LLC commercial estimator who has attended the Certified Indoor Environmentalist course sponsored by the American Indoor Air Quality Council can answer most of or all of your indoor air quality questions during a walk through estimate.
Packaged HVAC System Installations:
Lucky Duct, LLC offers the installation of Goodman packaged systems that can be installed on roof tops and building side mount configurations for horizontal and down flow applications. 2 stage 80% AFUE 13 SEER models are available for 90,000-180,000 BTU’s of heating for your facility and 2-5 ton cooling capacities. We can accommodate heating and cooling needs up to 3200 square feet per system with the Goodman packaged air handler GPC13M models.
Why Goodman?
Goodman packaged systems are of quality construction, energy efficient and affordable in price all together. Goodman manufacturing offers the best warranties in the heating and cooling industry for their packaged air handlers. Standard 10-year all part’s and 5-year all part’s warranties (depending on model) are hard to find for a commercial packaged air handling system and are delivered to building owners only because the systems are of durable construction with superior internal components. Goodman manufactures heating and air conditioning equipment in the United States and designed their packaged systems to withstand most weather conditions to include draught, rain, hail and blizzards. In short, Goodman packaged systems are very tough. Goodman packaged systems are very efficient too, boasting 2 stage gas fired systems that only utilize the maximum BTU’s of gas input when the coldest days demand it, which means your building gas consumption is reduced over a single stage unit. SEER stands for Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio, which is a U.S. department of Energy efficiency rating scale that measures how efficient an air conditioner is. Basically, the higher the SEER number is, the less energy the air conditioner uses. Chances are that your current old packaged system is rated at between 6-8 SEER and upgrading to a 13 SEER unit can save you money or at least keep up with the rising energy costs against your building’s energy bill. Goodman packaged air handlers have a superior tubular designed heat exchanger. The tubular design minimizes seam points so that cracks are harder to form on the heat exchanger surfaces versus the typical clam shell designed heat exchanger, which possesses many seam connections. Clam shell designed heat exchangers are most commonly used by most manufacturers, because they are cheaper to manufacture. The problem with a clam shell designed heat exchanger is that connecting seam points are more prevalent, which means that when the unit becomes older, the likelihood of failure increases drastically over that of a tubular designed heat exchanger. How often do you change out your car’s muffler or exhaust pipe? Chances are, never, right? That is what you get with a Goodman tubular designed heat exchanger and considering the fact that a heat exchanger is the most expensive component in your furnace, then having the best design would probably rank high on the priority scale when you are in the market to purchase a new furnace. Goodman packaged air handlers are relatively quiet in operation, which means you can hear yourself talk and be comfortable too. Goodman packaged systems also are equipped with electronic ignition so that you don’t have to worry about a standing pilot flame blowing out and possesses a self diagnosis LED system to diagnose itself when an operational problem occurs. Hands down Goodman makes the best heating and air conditioning products for the money!
